A veteran of interactive, video, and multimedia design, this designer has worked on various high profile and cutting edge technology projects since the beginning of her digital design career. Capitol Video Communications gave denise-pilar the best possible foundation for these media. A joint venture between CVC and Phillips Polygram provided many projects for CD-I (interactive cd), games, interactive teaching tools, and museum kiosks. The broadcast side of the business also was able to provide her first forays into video animations and paintbox. Stints with the CIA, Lunaria Interactive, Bell Atlantic's Stargazer Interactive TV Project, Xerox, and Henninger Video kept her busy for several years, until January 1995, and an opportunity to Art Direct and train the art team that would get internetMCI/Marketplace MCI up on the Internet. She is currently consulting as Webmaster for the Insititute for Science Education and Science Communication at Columbia College Chicago.

The variety of web design, video, print and interactive interface design provided a shoe-in for the gig at the National Ocean Service, in Washington, DC. dozens of products later, denise was contracted by the City of New York, via Plangraphics, Inc. to design and create art for two of their government websites.
